Kerry saw 8 students, with 7 business ideas work for 12 weeks to further develop their business propositions and build skills and gain knowledge that will last a lifetime.
Student Inc. Is a full-time immersive programme that runs annually from the start of June to the end of August. The expanded programme gives all third level students of MTU (Kerry & Cork) & UCC the opportunity to see if business ideas or inventions are viable commercial opportunities or social enterprises. In 2019, the inaugural Student Inc. Programme at MTU took place on campus for 12 weeks from June – August 2019 with 10 Students.
These students were based at the Tom Crean Business Centre and support by the full Enterprise team at MTU Kerry. In 2020, Student Inc. was delivered on a hybrid delivery due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with 10 students participating on the programme from MTU Kerry, followed by 7 students participating in 2021.
